Very basic widgets but that’s just the first step. Getting it out to testers and hopefully I will be publishing it in the next two to three weeks!

Widgets would be nice. Working on it, maybe I can finish them BEFORE 1.0 🙂

I need some testers to test my notes app before I would be able to put it on the Google Play Store. If you’d be able to help – send me over your email address. I’ll add you to the closed tests and reply with a link! Who knows, you might love this app!

Caved in and bought that Revolut premium plan. But only because it came with both travel insurance and NordVPN! I’ve also taken their offer for their credit card with 1% chargeback and moved ALL of my subscriptions there. End of the year is always bringing some weird changes like this. I’ve also changed the resolution of my new Mac to be a bit higher (went from 1512×982 to 1800×1169). As you can see, serious shit is happening here.
Is LinageOS any good?

Still mourning losing Tot when moved from iOS to Android so I made myself an app that’s my version of Tot on Android, but better 😅

My github is wild. Love this change.

Let’s do this. My Defaults from 2025. If you want to check previous entries – here’s the 2023 one that started it all, then 2024 one is here. If there was a change I’ll add ✨ there. ✨ 📨 Mail Client:
I’m glad we decided that Cloudflare should be the backbone of the internet. Thanks to that I’m able to not use it at least for a moment.
Got ’em.

I think I’m gonna get a MacBook Pro 14, M4 Pro with 24GB RAM and 1TB SSD. Am I making a mistake?

If you know, you know.

Something is wrong. I’ve updated to OxygenOS 16 and lock screen styling doesn’t really work?

Never in a million years would I thought that this is how my github activity would look like.

How can you even THINK about going back to phones that need to be charged for an hour or something, when OnePlus 13 goes from 0 to 100% in 36 minutes.
I’m becoming one of these people again. (Not going to wear it all the time because I have nicer watches but going full-Garmin for training).

It’s been a couple of months, and I’m still kind of amazed at how good this phone is. The speed hits me every time – not just opening apps, but the whole system just feels light and snappy. Charging is stupidly fast. You plug it in for ten minutes, and it’s basically full again.
Android really fits the way I use a phone. I like how much control I have, and how I can tweak small things without it fighting back. I’ve been looking at some of the new custom ROMs for the OnePlus 13 though (LineageOS in particular) and it’s tempting. No proper esim and LTPO support yet so I’m waiting for that getting fixed (I know how hard this could be but my fingers are crossed).
Funny thing is, I wouldn’t have gone down this road without the Pixel 8a I bought about a year ago. That phone made me appreciate Android in the first place. But it also showed me what I was missing – a faster screen, better charging, a bit more power under the hood.
So yeah, no regrets switching. It was a good year phone-wise.
